"Be confident and be ready to learn a very static and extablished system"

What don't you like about working at U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs?

"Care is stagnent and there is little to no ability to move. The reward and punishment system is ineffectual so if you are not self motivated to excel there's not going to be any outside push. Some of the major benefits, that draw people to work here, turn out not to exist."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"focus on giving veterans care they need, not care they want. Utilize best practices and stay more current on both tech and concepts"

"It was not a permanent position. So, after almost three years of getting to know the facility, time and money ran out! Not to mention missing my fellow work mates."
