What do you like about working at Danaher?

"Prior to 2007, it was a good place to work and quality was placed high on importance, both in words and practices. Management changes in 2007 embraces a sweat shop mentality and focus on the bottom line, with less and less about quality. In a man rated product line, that is a killer."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Get the feel for how they view quality in the scheme of things. They have had three quality directors in the past 3 years. There's a good reason for that...always keeps the quality organization at odds."

What don't you like about working at Danaher?

"If you are a quality professional, this is not the place to be. They look to the bottom line regardless of how they obtain it. They speak the quality line but in practice they do not walk the walk. Quality is constantly at odds with compromising or being overridden by senior management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Replace the CEO."
