What do you like about working at Walmart?
"I made a few life long friends with co-workers and with a few customers, and enjoyed serving them"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Wal-Mart is good on making you think that they have your back with the open door policy, but I learned that this is not true, at least at the store I work at. Ask questions, and make sure they honor the open door policy."
What don't you like about working at Walmart?
"I didn't like seeing managers step on one another to get ahead, and that made them crabby to work with, and made coming to work miserable"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I have a little respect for one another, and to be fair when it comes to moving someone up on the management ladder"

"The ineptness of the team leaders as well as the personal comments that were/are shared."

"They have friendly work environment and it is very fast paced. I like to keep to busy."

"They like very outgoing people and people that are friendly."

"They cut our hours due to the economy."

"I liked the ability to have flex hours. Management cared about the employees. There were health fairs, activities, etc. for employees to participate in."

"I saw some changes that Cigna went through and it was sad to see coworkers get displaced by downsizing."

"I really enjoyed the flexbilty of the hours and how the managment team was willing to listen and help you with fitting work into your life."

"I didnt enjoy how disorgainzed the company was."

"To do a better job informing your employees of whats actually going on, and not to sugar coat the matter."

"I was seasonal only, but it was something new to learn and I enjoyed ringing up the sales."

"because its commision based they invite a attitude of every man for himself. I prefer to work were you can trust you coworker and everybody works together."

"Everything. They were very unorganized as a company, the managers were not very professional, and although we were promised a raise increase after 90 days it never happened."
