"lack of communication from management to the technical department and not having any say so among day to day plans"

"communicate wih your employees, understand that we are human beings and we are all on one team"

"IT is focused on SAP, Microsoft solutions and Six Sigma."

What don't you like about working at Commercial Metals?

"Even with all of our modern tools in IT today (IM, video conferencing, toll bypass, etc...) upper management still has the mindset of needing all people centralized at the corporate office."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get out of the corporate office and visit the locations and really understand how CMC generates revenue."

"Things look great on the surface but there is something not right. People are too clique and chances for personal development could be limited."

"Technology seemed to be behind, personal development was not important to management"

"I'm not really sure where the disconnect is between management and the worker bees but getting in sync could benefit all the way around"

"The ability to learn a new for of auto CADD which is called Microstation."

"The constant bickering between the project managers and the detailing department about getting the work out to the customer."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To give the detailing department ample time to create the drawings to the customer."
