"It's very difficult to grow in this company. Once you take a job placement you are stuck to that positions unless you make a change and move to different areas. I would not recommend this company for long term career. Longer you stay in this company you stagnate."
"I've worked at Cisco Systems since August 2007. I have also moved within the company from one location to another and find that most of the people who advance are near their managers. If you are remote, it's harder for you to show your improvement or accomplishments. I do feel most of the great positions and advancements happen in new offices or in San Jose, CA the HQ. Sometimes attaining training is hard to accomplish and acquiring a CCIE within Cisco is basically null and voided at Cisco."
