What do you like about working at Chicago Teachers Center?
"It is affiliated with NEIU and works with teachers in Chicago Public Schools. It works, through federal grants, to convince kids in school to continue their education after high school and helps prepare them job challenges and college admission."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Pretend you like the director and you'll be fine."
What don't you like about working at Chicago Teachers Center?
"The director of the CTC tends to hire people she likes. This creates a lot of stress among the staff. Also, many top professionals in their fields, such as performing arts were encouraged to leave and they were replaced with recent graduates who had little or no experience."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get a professional director."
