Champion Technologies is a global corporation manufacturing specialty chemicals for the oil and gas industries. Started in Texas more than 50 years ago to supply that state’s oil drilling business, Champion has grown to include more than 100 locations in 50 countries. They currently employ more than 3,200 people in facilities relating to various aspects of the petroleum business including arctic, deep water, shale and oil sands operations. Their home office is in Fresno, Texas.

Champion Technologies is responsible for several key innovations now considered essential to the oil and natural gas industries such as corrosion inhibitors and emulsion breakers for oil pipelines. It is a member of the Texas Chemical Council, and its Fresno, TX plant holds the Distinguished Service Award. Champion is a two-time winner of the Caring for Texas Award and is a member of the American Chemistry Council Responsible Care Program.
