"Underpaid. The Sales Consultants' pay has been raised once (yes, only ONCE) since 1993. The per unit price for non-club level consultants was previously $150, now it is $160. It's offensive, especially given the aggressive expansion of the company. CarMax plans on opening one new store every month for the next three years. It seems they would rather choose to expand than to pay their consultants a reasonable wage."
