"Be flexible and don't be afraid to ask for help from your coworkers."

What don't you like about working at Boeing?

"I lost my job due to a reduction in force due to decreasing government contracts and it was hard to transition into a new area since Boeing Sunnyvale/Mt. View was a very small facility. I would have had to relocate to another Boeing facility and I was not willing to do so."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I wish management supported more fully telecommuting between facilities rather than wanting all work groups to be colocated."

"Don't waste your time, if you get hired it's only temporary."

"You have no job security, they fire people left and right, good and bad, makes no difference. They fire Alan Mullay, he was not good enough for CEO. So he goes to Ford and is rated Top CEO of the year by Forbes."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"At Boeing, whenever they run into cost problems they fire people in droves until the numbers look good. That is a CEO decision, not a managerial one. I had a good manager (who was also let go), unfortunately the leadership at Boeing is not very good and has a high turnover rate, they have had 4 CEO's in the last 10 years."

"The only negative is that they seem to have given up staying in California. Then again who can blame them."
