"I loved using my knowledge of animals and how they're affected by different medications, I loved traveling around to all the different study sites, The people I worked with directly were great."

"Make sure you are, #1. Dress professionally, first impressions are weighted heavy, #2. Be prepared to ask technical and hands on skills questions for the position you are applying for, #3. Be yourself."

"There were times when scapegoats would be used to solve or eliminate a situation, thankfully I was never one of those scapegoats."

"I do not believe he works there any more, but while I was there he was an excellent boss in my opinion."

"Flexible time; good scientific community."

"The bio-science and medical department have difficulty having good relationship between faculty and non-tenure scientist. Very strong class distinctions are observed, Must have tenure or married to a tenured faculty to have any political standing with your job."
What don't you like about working at Texas A&M University?
"No job security unless tenured faculty; little representation and benefits for post-doc and associate research scientist."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Not giving adequate forewarning employees of loss of job. Not suggesting new jobs in the TAMU. Bad experience with job termination. Gave no possibility of growth opportunities and did not discuss the matter very well."
