"Ask how long it is until you get a raise, and find out how many people will be in charge of you."

"I didn't like the poor wages, and it was micromanaged by the top."

"Trust the staff a little more and don't look down on them. They should be treated as equals."

"Use good judgement and realize that you must make 100's of phone calls to make sales, there are no leads generated by the company"

"No leads, must generate all my own leads"

"Advertise and have name recognition. Have a pleasant office to work in."

"I liked the people, accounts/policyholders, openness to suggestions for improvement, limited supervision, and that they allowed me to grow."

"The position was eliminated and I wish another opportunity was available."

"Post openings, and help find positions for workers when positions are eliminated."

"Make your move. Don't think twice."

"I dislike not working for them."

"I was, for the most part, left alone to handle my duties."

"Know the limitations of Aon and what the career offers. It's a solid environment for stability. However, if you care to advance or make better than average money, you may find yourself wanting down the road."

What don't you like about working at Aon?

"The job wasn't challenging. I was given clients to handle calculations for, that were too small to constitute filling my day. It was also made very clear to me that, although I was hired as a project manager and calculations specialist, my career would not be able to move forward unless I became an actuary."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep your employees engaged, and make sure they have career goals to help with said engagement. Being left without enough work to do and no opportunity to move forward is the quickest way to lose bright, ambitious talent."

"The company wasn't actually the ARS side. I was working in Aon Corporation. I wish I was working on the ARS side."

"Be extremely humble and subservient if you are interviewing for an Aon Corporation role. The ARS side tends to be more entrepreneurial."

"I kept getting told my problem was I knew too much about the business."
