The Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) provides a variety of merchandise and services to active duty military members, guard and reserve members, military retirees and their families. The majority of the Exchange's profits are used for Army and Air Force services and the establishment of new Exchange locations.

The AAFES operates stores on military bases and at deployment locations worldwide. The company also offers an online store for qualified buyers. The AAFES employs sales associates, marketing professionals and management personnel in all locations. Administrative and human resources staff are employed at central AAFES locations worldwide.

Sales associates working at The Exchange are responsible for general customer service and merchandising duties at individual Exchange locations.
