My suggestion to management would be to do a walk through for a job with a ladder and to open a ceiling tile and check for obstructions to the proposed cable path. Cabling Tech managers should also have knowledge of and be in communication with other trades like HVACs, Sprinkler fitters and Electricians so that everyone knows who gets what realestate above the ceiling.
