"I've worked for Carr since May 2013. For a starter job it is fine, but if you are looking to creatively express yourself, stay away."
"I worked at Xerox on a 1 year contract, I found it no better nor worse than any other big corporation that I have done business with."
"I am satisfied with company policies. Overall good."
"I have worked for Xerox since October, 2013 and am really happy here. It is a great environment to work in and there is always an opportunity to move up or around in the company. I highly recommend this company to any job seekers because of their commitment to motivating and retaining employees through incentives, and flexibility."
"Xerox was great. The contract we were on... well, that's a different story."
"It's just a check to me but it is not enough to live on."
"Excellent social experience."
"I've been working, doing my internship for Xerox on the IT department in the city hall of Riverside. It has been a good experience and I have learned a lot of new things. I also got the chance to work at the Riverside Police Department and learned how to set up the cop cars with all the equipment they need."
"I have worked for Global Imaging Systems for about 18 months and they have provided me with extensive training on how to create business out of nothing. Global is owned by Xerox. When I initially started with the company they put me through a 5 week training program that focused on getting in front of decision-makers and providing them with solutions that help them to cut costs and become more productive. They have also taught me how to market myself and our products with a minimal budget."
"Needs new management that is not only out looking for themselves. I have never seen management that could care less about their employees as long as they made their money. Could be a great company, but I don't see that happening soon."
"Everything was passable and sometimes even enjoyable until the young supervisor who I adored, packed up and left. The CIB the company replaced her with was absolutely horrible."
"They offered me a good compensation but there are others who are not completely happy. One big reason, I do not like this place is they treat IT as a cost center and are not open to change the status-quo. They do not encourage employees to challenge the status-quo. They are not very transparent and in their decision making and are completely driven by the quarterly results"
"Stagnant pay, no raises or bonuses in years. No opportunities to grow. More work for less pay. Lousy recognition and unpleasant work environment."
"It has been a wonderful experience to have been associated with a great company such as Xerox. I have been working with their in house oracle applications. I am at present implementing change controls for Xerox's Spares Order Fulfillment."
"I have worked with several IT infrastructure developers and database administrator teams at Xerox and I found it to be both challenging but also full of procedural inconsistencies which caused the production support role to become extremely stressful while also challenging my multitasking and time management abilities. Overall I found my experience to be a positive one and I learned more about the software development and implementation process. I would not suggest working for this firm."
