Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be very cautious of the face you see. It is a mask that hides an out-of-control business structure that is constantly changing, and your position could be eliminated at any moment without warning or reason."
What don't you like about working at Weston Solutions?
"Weston's infrastructure is fragmented by design. There are too many independent profit centers with separate methodologies for business success that conflict with one another. An enormous amount of time, money and effort is spent to re-invent the wheel instead of using tried and proven methods that the competition uses. The result is less new business and a lower gross revenue than projected by management. In a panic move, management has tried to correct this problem by implementing massive layoffs of employees, rather than recognizing the core problem of too may managers and vice presidents."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to those who have a strong knowledge of business reality outside the Weston closed-door environment. Shed your internal disregard for standard practices, and model yourself after other companies that have a very high rate of success. Don't fire the workers instead of the managers with authority."
"Overall a good company, but very unstable at the moment and laying people off quickly."

What don't you like about working at Weston Solutions?
"Career advancement is inconsistent. Matrix management results in confusion and very inefficient use of assets. Put too many eggs in one basket and now that the economy is bad they are laying people off fast."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop buying into headlines and listen to your clients. Don't reward poor and loud behavior with promotions in the hopes that you are quiet someone. A company of 2100 people world wide does not need 150 VPs. **Develop and employ a Sales Plan!**"
