"not really interiews go pretty well no trickery but do your homework understand the job and be jnowledgable of the details of the position"

"cant really say anything about bad although upper management did roll over 3 times while I was there"

"stop watching your backside and focus on the task at hand and support staff to occomplish goals"

"Not any different than any other company. Be yourself and be honest."

"The commute was a bit long, and the traffic in So Cal can be unpredictable and stressful."

"None. I feel that management at Yamaha does a great job."

"Very enjoyable, the culture was very stimulating, and the assignments were agressive, but do-able wtih support from peers and management."

"Requires SAP experience now. We installed FI, MA, and other modules along with software quality."
What don't you like about working at Yamaha?
"It seemed to me that some management team members were unsympathetic regarding groups wtih some problems that were not addressed in the project life cycle. these groups went largely unheard when expressing their issues with systems."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to all users of the system and where possible, integrate or create systems that provide data and solve issues for a more complete and detailed picture."

"A powerhouse company with an instantly recognizable and well loved brand. Exceptionally well made products. Unfortunately, over the years, it has become a colder environment to work in, primarily due to HR policies. Like all large companies, it takes longer to respond to the market. but when it does, it is typically a dominant player for market share. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yamaha Japan. The President typically is rotated out every 2-4 years and is currently, for the first time, an Anglo-American rather than an Japanese national."
