A lot of racism! Too much micromanagement. Unethical behavior. No real HR department to voice concerns to; confidential discussions are told verbatim to those with whom you may be having an issue. Never any real resolves.

Your first priority in the job shouldn't be to "interpret rules and regulations and enforce discipline." That has a very "gestapo" feel to it.How about growing your employees, stopping workplace harrassment and stop trying to write everyone up every five minutes. You give little positive encouragement to the staff. There is a lot of brown-nosing and that leads to a hostile workplace.

Watch out what you get yourself into. Make sure you meet as many co-workers and mgrs as possible.

There are many other hotels in the Orlando area. Find one that values it's employees and treats them in an equitable manner.
