Software Development Engineer in Test Intern

"Workday employees and interns enjoy a fantastic office culture. The leaders I met with and worked under at Workday were all genuine and passionate people. As a developer, I noticed that Workday's build system and development cycle takes a lot of unnecessary burdens of the developer's shoulders."

"When I joined Workday I built and lead our digital web and design team to provide a self-service approach for our creative services group. With hundreds of customers across multiple verticals touching our website every day—ensuring a cohesive and strategic interaction was key to positive user experience. I acted as a creative lead for all digital experiences including the corporate .com website, corporate blog, event marketing micro-sites and supportive demand generation programs. During my tenure, I lead Workday’s website redesign that included a re-branding effort and integrating contemporary UX paradigms. I regularly worked with our executive leadership team and other marketing leaders to continue strategic messaging and brand awareness."

"If you're looking for growth and exciting new opportunities, I don't recommend working here. If you're looking to "rest and vest", it's a great place for you to work. Work starts when scrum starts (around 9:30-10am) and everyone is gone by 4-5pm. WFH is rampant and there's lots of new managers with no people management experience. Your experience in the company is highly dependent on your compatibility with your direct manager."
