"Gore has the potential to be great and falls short when it looses site of it's greatest asset, the people. I've been employed over 15 years with friends an family serving 20-30+ years. Depending on your job description, the treatment varies greatly! I'm concerned for Gores tenured Associates in hourly positions. When they become disabled or less capable, there are devastating consequences that can result in termination. The gender and minority pay gap is real, and the hiring process has much to improve when it comes to feedback regarding interviewing. It was also shared with me that Gore hires minorities to meet demographic quotas, especially around leadership."
"Great company, great experience"
"Gore is a materials company that makes products or enables the manufacture of products in several industries. It's a good place to work and has been recognized as such by multiple publications over the years."
"Is located in Elkton Maryland"
"I've been with WL Gore for 9 years. They make many products for electronics, clothing, medical, and industrial industries. Each division consists of many smaller autonomous groups. Each group has it's own culture. My first 2 groups were excellent, my third was not. Be careful and make sure your career goals align with those of the group you are interviewing with. My review is for my last work group."
"Not as good as a place to work as most think."
