"as with any career decision, you have to weigh immediate needs with dreams (long range goals) and then prepare yourself for every situation in between. its been my experience no matter if you believe in yourself and follow through by giving your best effort, it will never be enough. accept nothing, expect less than you've ever imagined, and realize no matter what you are doing or who you are working with, its your decision. case in point - the statement above is about as profound as any that I was given while working in the fastener engineering department at ITW/Paslode"

"the fact that they might be putting forth incredible effort for second hand information instead of just asking me in person."

"see my 'one liner' below. progressive yes, to a point. did the people I worked with day in and day out accept me did they think I was, in any way, shape or form, doing less than my share to make their workday less enjoyable I believe not. understand when I say its a difficult task separating people from task. unfortunately, this questionaire is years past due. in hindsight id have to comment never have I worked with more cautious and less decisive 'company men' than those there."
