"Let's put it this way. The idea of launching rockets has hired way more people than the salary. I started underpaid, and made sub inflation raises every year being told how great I was performing. They actually did the most insane thing possible, which was completely separate your performance review and your raise (by months), so that performance supposedly factor into raises, but no one can know how. I was finally lucky enough to get promoted years ago which finally got me a decent raise, but since then it has been sub inflation raises. Every person that has left has seen $10-15k increases in pay. They currently are making motions that people are too expensive and cost cutting is super important, so I wouldn't expect to see this situation get better."
