"Uber drivers are dramatically underpaid, absolutely unappreciated, and constantly lied to by the company and tricked into working Harder by fake promotions that mean nothing. If you bring up the fact that they are lying to you, all they do is Bounce you around from customer service agent to customer service agent and eventually send you a BS email with basic information, and more lies about what you were paid and why. They are terrible! Avoid it at all costs!"
"I must admit that I enjoyed working for Uber overall. After a lot of years of working on someone else's schedule and working for some not so good bosses, it was amazingly pleasant to make my own schedule and to be my own boss. It was nice meeting different people and having some conversation with most. The money wasn't bad, but I have learned that it is not so much about how much you make but much more about how you handle what you make. But when you add in the freedom of no boss and your own schedule, wow, it was pretty nice for quite a while."
"I have worked for Uber since 2018, and i have found it to be a great company but i believe its time to take my expertise somewhere else so i can grow more in my career and also help solve problems for the company i am working for."
"I've worked for Uber for over 5 years. It's a nice job to have , if your a self starter, because you have to be proactive to make money. I did pretty well for myself, especially in the summer time when it is the busiest. If I ever needed help or had questions Uber services was there to help. The only bad part of this job is some passengers are rude and/or puke in your car. I drove in Nashville, TN and we are known for partying at our bars."
"I've worked with Uber in 2017 and then with Uber Eats in 2020. It's a fast moving company and provides ample opportunities for professional growth."
"Enjoyed my internship over the summer!"
"Going down hill, will be further away from tier 1 tech company"
"I have enjoyed my time with Uber thus far. The company provides a fun environment in which it seems that each team is tackling interesting problems every day. You are given the autonomy to do your work as you see fit, but as the company has grown, there tends to be too many decision makers at each step when trying to implement new ideas, which can be annoying at times although it ensures that things are done safely. The people in the company are friendly and I have enjoyed that we can do things outside of work and genuinely enjoy each others company. I would recommend this company to someone patient who doesn't mind the bureaucratic style of approving projects or pushing forward agendas."
"Uber is a company at the forefront of technology and growth. They are fast-paced and exciting to work for."
"Cool technology, and great opportunities to develop technical skills. Lots of in--house perks and strong employee benefits."
