Working at Steven Langford Architects in Santa Ana, CA: 1 Employee Reviews

Equipment Services Project Manager

"Room for professional growth but too much staff turnover."

What do you like about working at Steven Langford Architects?

"The office is a full service Architectural firm specializing in restaurant design with an interiors department, in-house kitchen design and construction management. The long standing reputation of Steven Langford and staff far exceeded what I initially had expected."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The demands of restaurant architecture require a real ability to preform as required to meet and maintain project schedules. One needs to be very organized to avoid looking for answers when the moment demands a quick response. Be careful to understand what is expected of you."

What don't you like about working at Steven Langford Architects?

"The head designer has been there too long and is not very appreciative of other senior level experience. My opinion was he did not care to embrace the team as such but tended to be self serving and often condescending toward junior staff. I never felt he could be trusted as a co-worker or peer."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think the leadership and management should have instilled a sense, to the employee, as being valued greater than client budgets and deadlines, to the extent of incentives and such to verify achievement and a successful project. Share the wealth when the opportunity is available either in praise or a reward."
