"I got to utilize all of my HR skills and develop new ones. Built relationships with the business community and felt that I made a real difference for the employers and job seekers I worked with."

"Be patient and don't lose hope - the employment process tends to grind slowly, but it does work reasonably well."

What don't you like about working at State of Rhode Island?

"Nothing - I would have been there still if the funding for my position hadn't been cut."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None - best managers ever. Did an excellent job, especially given the restraints they had to work under."
