"I did not like the fact that it was thirty miles away from my house."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Managers should be separate. One manager for installation, one for service and to follow up."

"The lack of communication between cordinators and management. There organizational skills are very unorthdox and lack common sense ."

"They would need to communicate better with techs and customers and rethink the the system the use to send techs out on jobs"

"Sometimes there was a misunderstaning with dispatch on cordinating jobs, scheduling, maintenance time on accounts and not folowing up with customers"

"The service manager's attitude over other techs. example ( not fully understanding what happens when a problem arises for the service man, that it takes time to troubleshoot the unit to come up with a proper dianosis).They laid me off for taking care of my wife after her car accident, instead of working with me. I told them that I would come in later and work saturdays if need be, but they chose to let me go."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management should work with the workers to solve any problems and not work against them especially if thworker is outstanding in his trade."

"The independence and ability to think on your own, reliable job if you don't get burned out, company vehicle."

"good starter company for hvac/r or electrical to get your foot in the door to gain experience, but wouldn't recommend staying for more than a couple years"

What don't you like about working at ICEE?

"No opportunity for growth, overworked and underpaid, no development or training, company works very unefficient and treats customers poorly at times. Takes a lot out of your personal life"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management doest appreciate the work technicians do, they overwork us and don't acknowledge that the kind of work we do in this trade will pay more in other companies, thats why all the good technicians leave and icee machines never work"

"I would just say do your best to do your job and assume that you will not get too much support."

"The company was not very supportive to it's field technician's and not always very responsive for the needs of the technician as a person."

"I think there should have been more attention given to the needs of the field technician especially if it involves getting the job done and getting it done correctly."
