"Every Sun employee was very talented and highly motivated. Most everyone enjoyed their work projects. Lots of diverse personalities to learn from."

"It ranks with IBM (1988-1990) and Bell Laboratories (1983-1988) as being among the very best companies i've ever worked for. (1995-2002)"

What don't you like about working at Sun Microsystems?

"Some projects were supported more than others. Some very talented people in a small group had no political clout so they left and founded a very successfull company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Pay more attention to technically-advanced but politically unconected groups."
