"Work for US army Corps of Engineers can provide opportunity to obtain good field experience on job site by reviewing technical problems, can impact work progress on site, besides the great experience can be obtained when applying office works on the RMS program and the documentation control systems."

"When non-engineers, non qualified hired to conduct projects replacing engineer positions."

"Management have good team structure for organizing and scheming works development, process stream systemized, still somewhere there are obvious shortages in correct planning, coordinating and directing activities."

"chronically under staffed. over worked (see 1st complain), top heavy with too many vice presidents and directors for a company of its size, too much micromanaging. all senior positions are filled with people from outside of the company."

"FKI has experienced some upheavals in ownership that have taken it don a couple of notches. Used to be a premier company. May be again."
What do you like about working at FKI?
"Matuer, established company. Internal systems are great. Processes very well defined and refined in engineering, though not all departments understand or coordinate well with them."

"If you're looking for a dynamic company that's open to new ideas, keep looking."

"Very conservative. I felt chafed and restrained as an intrapeneur."
