"There are too many politics involved in working in a DOD environment."

"I would like to suggest to keep growing your employees and making sure they feel like they are part of the company instead of a number."

"Walmart has translated recently to a culture of fear."
What do you like about working at Walmart?
"That 800 pound gorilla feeling. We are bigger and badder than anyone else and could really leverage that in the business. They really seem to care about their people."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be confidant and professional, but be humble. Employees at Walmart, even VP's, empty their own trash cans. They also work long hours, so make sure they know you like to work."
What don't you like about working at Walmart?
"More thought and planning went into not hurting sales and not breaking anything than anything else. Fear in a pretty oppressive motivator, and you could never escape it."

"Let people do their jobs and reward success and accept failure as part of the process."

"I like the environment of the company and also their policy of skip level. This makes everyone approachable."

"Always be confident and never nervous. Even if the questions are something you cannot answer, be confident."

"I do not like the culture which makes us have lesser responsibilities as we are at a certain level even when we have proven to be capable of handling more."

"My suggestion would be to be more aware of what each resource in the team is working on and what their achievements are first hand."

"more product engineering for an end product is needed, even for our reference design kits"

"The hours of 9:30-6:30 with a hour 1 commute make it hard to have a life during the week."

"Allow flexible work schedules to boost up morale in the work place."

"I have complete freedom to design all aspects of the software suite. I get to attend sales meetings and all power meetings. I am directly responsible to my customers. I do not hear anything 2nd hand."

"Be artistic! Be prepared to do a lot of whiteboarding."

"The rewards have been nonexistent. We do not have 401k"

"Management really needs to all be on the same page. I believe that they are fighting each other."
