What do you like about working at US Bancorp?
"I had established a reputation for myself, was well respected by peers, management, realtors and customers. The lending department was large and had room for new opportunities."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It is currently owned by TCF. The buyout took place about the same time I left to raise my family."
What don't you like about working at US Bancorp?
"I worked very long hours, evenings, weekends...had a laptop (very advanced for the '90's) so I could work at home, but was always needed at the office therefore rarely worked at home."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None, they did a fine job and were very supportive of staff."

"I dislike the micromanagement and glass ceiling."

"Did have to work long hours sometimes to get the job done"

"Great benefits."
What do you like about working at Bank of America?
"This was a Countrywide site prior to being BOA, it is run very efficiently and the management is actually involved, on the floor staying involved with the staff."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Relax, the managers are friendly and they don't ask questions that do not matter to what you would be doing. Don't toot your own horn too hard, they like team players."
What don't you like about working at Bank of America?
"Overall there is a disconnection within the company. Not a team atmosphere nationwide although that exists at the site I work. Kind of an us against them in the different areas of banking and lending."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep up the good work and personal touch. Maybe the only area I had problems with was having to constantly remind them I did not have all the access to many systems and websites I needed to effectively do my job."

"High risk loans were always pushed through by management. Even when fraud was questioned."

"The employees I worked with were wonderful. The pay was excellent."
What do you like about working at Cornerstone Lending?
"They had 2 things in their favor. There was a potential for growth within the company and their pay was competitive."
What don't you like about working at Cornerstone Lending?
"There was a lot of sneaking around going on and toward the end of my employment there I felt like I needed to make a copy of every approval I made because of discrepencies of what was being sent to the lender."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Police your loan officers/account executives."
