What do you like about working at Konica Minolta?
"It was a challenging, fun job. I enjoyed working with people and solving their problems. I also liked working in varied locations and every day being different."
What don't you like about working at Konica Minolta?
"They did not adapt to changing technology and change thier product line to fit the needs of thier customers."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The company was sold. The field service engineers kept managment abreast of the changes the customers wanted to impliment, but did not listen. I would have liked them to have listened as then the company could have remained profitable and would not have been sold."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Upper management talks a good game but doesn't deliver. The bottom line is the bottom line."
What don't you like about working at Philips Healthcare?
"That management tries to get the service personnel to do sales, and lots of special projects that have nothing to do with the job, too many needless meeting and teams."

"Decent application fits the need of person seeking position in this field for HitachI Medical Systems."
What do you like about working at Hitachi?
"I liked being independent as well as, learning all there was to know about MRI systems. I really enjoy installations and maintenance. Trouble shooting was challenging due to prior installations from previous engineers."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you can handle the bureaucracy within the company, go for it! It is a great starting position for a field service engineer. Do no plan on moving up the ladder to quickly if at all. If you like to work with you hands and like to trouble shoot, then this job is perfect for you!"
What don't you like about working at Hitachi?
"The politics of the company were terrible. I got along with a few of my peers however upper management was very biased and opinionated. There were some poor management decisions which I did not agree with.l"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take the advice or suggestions from field engineers as well as customers. Do not think that your decisions are the BEST and the most accurate. Be open minded to others suggestions and peer input."

"Continuum is owned by a conglomerate that has no experience in dealing with a field service force."
What do you like about working at BTU Int'l?
"I loved my position. I enjoyed the feeling of accomplishment whe I either finished an installation or repair of the complex capital equipment. I enjoy the ability of handling customers, wether passive or difficult. I traveled world wide and was fortunate to meet different types of people and cultures, without the tourist trap atmosphere."

"Be honest and confident"
What don't you like about working at BTU Int'l?
"The difficulty of one department not communicating with others. This left the FSEs sometimes in a difficult position."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Better communication between engineering, sales and service."
What do you like about working at Cynosure?
"Good products. Good documentation. Good support."
What don't you like about working at Cynosure?
"Poor Service Contract managment. Service makes good money, but managment does not pass it to the Field."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Separate Sales from Service when Sales are low. Service should not suffer for lack of sales."

"MY POSITION WAS AN EXTREMELY CHALLENGING POSITION. I ENJOYED THE DEMAND AND THE CHALLENGE OF MY POSITION"

"DON'T TAKE IT PERSONAL. I ACTUALLY LOVED WORKING THERE. THE GOOD OUTWIEGHED THE BAD."

"NEVER FELT APPRECIATED, YET WAS ALWAYS CALLED ON TO TAKE ON THE DIFFICULT & DEMANDING CUSTOMERS"

"THE POSITIONS SHOULD BE FILLED BECAUSE OF QUALIFICATION, NOT SENIORITY"

"Continuous Travel & Overtime. No need for a permanent home, family or vehicle."

"Be prepared to speak Swiss dialects of German, French or Italian.US born nationals are not typically in Management positions."

"Former enlisted military people in management positions they weren't prepared or educated for."

"They aren't interested in suggestions from lower forms of life."
