Warehouse and Distribution Manager
in Birmingham, AL

"I worked as a warehouse manager for the now albertville office for 10 years. I moved the office 3 times while working for them I gave them dedicated service, I was always the first person there sick or not. It didn't matter, i came to work. I can only account a handful of times i called in during my tenure with SUI. Last year my wife broke her ankle and was helpless as far as getting up and to the bathroom and making food, we had nobody to help us so I was picking her up and carrying her to the bathroom. I got a phone call about a mandatory meeting and was forced to leave my wife setting in a recliner for several hours with an adult diaper on so that I could attend this meeting 31 miles from my home. This just shows how "family oriented" SUI really is. When I hit my 10 year tenure date I got no recognition, no thank you, nothing from them. They continue to recognize others for this same thing. They fired me yesterday for commenting on a photo on their facebook page of one of our technicians. I was congratulating him is all. Why? you may ask. Because SUI deemed my profile picture inappropriate. They went through my profile and found a video I posted awhile back (while on my break no doubt) of my warehouse. They literally fired me for being on facebook during working hours even though I was not on the clock during this post. I would typically look through Facebook just as any of you would during your beak, let that sink in. SUI uses antiquated inventory management system called pixsys. The system does not work as intended, its very cumbersome to use. Techs have a hard time keeping their inventory accurate using this and the sister app Comet. SUI takes advantage of this flaw and uses it to take money out of techs pockets. When their inventory counts get off and theres a discrepancy between a physical count and what the system says they're supposed to have theres only a few things that can be done to reconcile equipment. Generally corporate will charge the techs"
