Then learning that I will never get another raise was a little deflating and I have to say it made me feel a Little deflated, unnoticeable and unappreciated for giving it my all every time I walked into the store. It made me feel like I cared a lot more about their business than they cared about making sure that every employee there got a regular raise and that the people who have really given their all also and who have been employees for many years we’re not being compensated or even recognized for being such loyal hard working employees. There seemed that a distance and a definite disconnect with what was happening at the showroom and any sigh of appreciation
However, That being said I guess I would have to sum it up as the best job I have ever had. Because I worked with the greatest team of ladies that made everyday the best day ever. That being said my one complaint would be lack of respect and gratitude that I felt just being there a year. I can only imagine those who have been
There for a lot more years than I have were over worked and underpaid. It seemed that there were always new job titles and responsibilities being piled in everyone’s shoulders and there was no compensation for picking up one more job. They need to spread out the work load and hire people to fill positions that become open instead of just passing that work load to an employee that is already buried and there is a disconnect like I said between the owners and the amount of work they pile on their employees without compensation"
