"I started the last company for an attorney, who at one point allowed me to buy into the corporation. He apparently started having personal financial issues and the only resolution was to close the business. I was my own supervisor. We had a great retention rate for employees. Many were very loyal and were good company people. The other shareholder was very antagonistic towards the employees, but usually was able to work as a buffer. I believe in giving everybody a chance. I don't prejudge someone's skillset because of their socioeconomic status. Unfortunately the majority stockholder did."
