"Very good company at other locations, but not this one."
What do you like about working at Sodecia?
"I liked everything about the Canadian plant. I liked nothing about the Lake Orion plant."

"I would never recommend anyone I know to seek work at this location."
What don't you like about working at Sodecia?
"Abusive Plant Manager, who everyone promised would be replaced, but is still there."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Replace the Plant Manager. Since it runs 24 hours per day, use 3 shifts not two."

"The opportunity to be present in a time of growth and expansion of certain projects."

"They heavily prefer background in Chlor-AlkalaI industry and do not really consider other backgrounds."

"The lack of support by immediate supervision. Sometimes it felt like you were left on an island."

"Follow through and development of your direct reports after and during annual reviews and through out the year."

"Get everything in writing. Do not trust any of the managers who ae only self serving."

"No goal. Living in past glory. Very illiterate bosses who think that they know it all, Lip service only given for career moves. Mid level management fearful of smarter and well educated co workers and peers."

"Be progressive. Not be a know it all. Listen to people better than yourself and surround yourself with good people, not yes-men"

"ask why the supervisors only last six months or less. ask how many hours the work their employees"

"weak upper management, they don't care about their people, people are a commodity"
