"Your employees are loyal and hard working. Reward them every know and then. It will help moral."

"Stay on point. Be confident. Outline what you can do to help the team. Don't oversell yourself - the attorneys here tend to believe paralegals are second class citizens (so to speak)."

"Heavy office politics. Management was borderline unprofessional with office politics."

"Clean up the politics in the office. Try to work towards a more collaborative environment and pay your employees satisfactorily."

"Long hours and lots of time away from family. Being away from home is the hardest part."

"It would be better if the pay scale were better for the lower ranks, it is hard to make it work with a family."

"They lure you in with a good salary and that will be your only incentive not to run away screaming."

"Try to get as much money from them as you possibly can since you will essentially become their property.The reputation of this firm is so ravaged that you probably won't even want this on your resume."
What don't you like about working at Dinkes & Schwitzer?
"The work day is an hour longer than most other firms; Everything is disjointed and disorganized to a disturbing degree; Employees come and go as if it was Walmart (not a major law firm!) - and this turnover applies to attorneys and support staff alike."

"Take some time to reflect on the scandal your firm has been involved in and your tarnished reputation and change your damn business practices. Its called INTEGRITY."

"The management is good there are no issues concerning the management style or productivity."

"I like helping low-income clients advocate for themselves. I love my co-workers - they are smart, compassionate, socially-minded. I like how I can manage my caseload without being micromanaged."

"Show that you are compassionate about helping poor people and can convey that compassion when patience is tried."

"No room for growth unless I go to law school. Low salary."

"More emphasis on everyone carrying their weight. I would be a bigger disciplinarian."

"Culture is more like a cult where everyone on the surface is happy. The leadership are incredibly immoral and people in their roles seem to have very little actual experience."

"Make sure that you ask a lot of detailed culture questions; make sure that you are a good fit."

"The leadership is incredibly immoral and unethical. In addition, people are overly aggressive when they don't get their way."

"They paid me regularly for the hours I worked the previous week."

"Go to law school, get a JD and pass a state bar exam. Hudson only has interest in attorneys."
What don't you like about working at Hudson Legal?
"I had no contact with Hudson itself. They knew I was only a temporary employee for them so they didn't bother to make any but essential contact with me."

"Pretend to appreciate contract people who work for you and increase your revenues."

"The culture of the company was to deliver great customer service and in the process they extended that practice to their employees by offering great compensation and benefits."

"Meet with all staff and attorneys. Also to ask if there will be additional duties or projects that include administrative work."

"They did not offer overtime or assistance when there was an abundance of work which was counterproductive."

"To offer support staff to their paralegals when the case load exceeds more than 80 active files."

"It was very challenging. You have the opportunity to learn and expand your knowledge and skills as all the attorney are very accessible and approachable."

"If you're up for a challenge and derive a feeling of success from large amount of work, you will love it here. If you're looking for a small, boutique firm where you get to know everyone, this might not be the place for you."

"The office manager at our office was unorganized and misrepresented the job and what was required to new hires. This made it difficult for existing employees as the responsibility for bringing new hires up to speed meant extra work and stress in addition to the work already assigned."

"Make sure that your new hires fully understand the job, the hours, and levels of responsibility. Hire a more organized office manager."
