"The employees at this establishment take the Olive Garden motto of "We're all family here" to heart, everyone is extremely helpful and staff becomes very close. However, one thing I felt lacked was the cleanliness. Still up to code but some employees chose short cuts that were not sanitary. The hours are great and schedule is very flexible."

"RUN as fast as you can! Disgusting..evil...2 faced horrible managers. It was like dealing with people in junior high school it was sick! Hostile work environment !!! Never worked at a restaurant like this before my life !! The managers literally make up lies about certain employees. Myself included! It was so embarrassing telling people I worked for this company it is seriously the most disgusting company I ever worked out. Drama Drama Drama!!! If you want to work at a place where you feel like crap every time you walk in the door ...work at Olive Garden in Bloomingdales Illinois!"

"I enjoy my work here. My co-workers a very nice for the most part and also very helpful when they're not busy with their own work. However, management is not always on the same page which can make things confusing at times. Especially when one manager wants things a certain way but the others have their own way they'd like things done. This doesn't happen often, but when it does the job becomes unnecessarily stressful."

"I worked for Olive Garden since July 2017 and enjoyed every minute of it. The co-workers and managers that I worked with were good people to work and be friends with; it felt like working with a family. The environment was always supportive, which enabled everyone to overcome any challenges that came into existence."

"Management does not care about their employees and treats the majority of them poorly. Select staff members are favored and control management. Employees steal from each other and the company, are not properly trained, and it is overall a horrible place to work. The few employees who work hard and actually care about working there are treated worse and expected to do more. Management will randomly go on "firing sprees" and cause issues for no apparent reason. There is very little feedback from management for those who would like to advance with the company, or would like to improve in how they do their job."

"I've worked at Olive Garden for 3 years now, and I love it. Olive Garden is a corporate restaurant with many locations all over. Darden, the parent company of Olive Garden, owns a few other restaurants as well."

"I worked at the Olive Garden in Salina, Ks for nearly 8 months. In this time frame I witnessed and was a victim of every type of job harassment including discrimination. I will say the training was great as this was my first serving position and set me up for the great success that I have now. However, I still have nightmares about the discrimination and harassment that took place against me and my co-workers. Everything from being clocked out and having to stay several extra hours without being paid, to racial discrimination, etc., as well as a manager who would scream repeatedly that we were going to be "wrote up", not "written" but "wrote"... etc. After I left I sued for unemployment AND WON due to the fact that I refused to sign the false accusations and "wrote ups" that they would try to bully me into signing. I was an excellent employee that was always on time and an excellent server. General manager that was the biggest racial discriminatory ring leader has since passed away. Bless her heart. With that being said... if you are an ex con, drug addict, Salinian... you will probably do well here and won't be bullied."

"Great fellow employees. Managers are terrible at communication. I have one I mesh with but another who knit picks and gets off on making us feel bad, as bad as they feel about themselves evidently. The money is ok... nothing incredible. I like having no side work but the bussers hawk you for more tips after you already tipped off your sales. I'm sure I could be unhappier somewhere else but since the managers are always making people quit and we're always short staffed. Corporate needs to come and gut those managers and start all over!!!"

"I have been working at the OG for over a year. I have a great relationship with my managers, the "Big Wigs," and other servers. To Go currently has the greatest capacity to make the most money. Carside was only recently implemented and the work load from pleasing guests alone can get incredibly stressful. You will experience bad days here, too. Only theft I have heard of was a purse being stolen out of the break room."
