"As an intern, I was largely ignored. The tasks that I was given were mainly busywork such as documenting code that I knew absolutely nothing about. The company did not use standard software engineering tools such as source control, and, when source control was suggested, management would simply scoff and claim that they knew better."

"if the salary seems low, you can negotiate up rather easily."

"the management structure is aweful. Everyone basically does what they feel they should do (leaving testing for the very very end)"

"create a more structured environment, people need to be told to do things that they would rather not do."
