"My salary is higher than normal. But is only because Nissan was very particular in choosing a specific type of CAD designer. I made a great positive reputation when I worked in the Smyrna plant. When the Decherd plant saw my resume (I was not even looking, but my resume was online with Resource Tek), my contract company bent over backward to get me back in Nissan. The Nissan position was hung up for over a year because they could not find the right match. But Resource Tek had me as their ticket to get in. I started out at $27 an hour growing to $30 hour from 2004-2007. I started at $45 an hour and after 6 months I grew to $46 an hour in 2019-2020."
