"I've worked at the law department since 2017 as an attorney. My work environment is quite enjoyable, and my workers are helpful and excellent at their jobs. However, the salary with the law department is low compared to the private market, and leadership opportunities are very limited. As such, staying for the long term is not very appealing. Technology and workspace is also not very appealing. Because it's public, it takes a very long time for the department to acquire new technology. Thus, software and hardware is always behind."
