"that they allowed people fired from other companies engage in the same temper tantrums and cussing out other techs and lying"

"Fire the managers who were fired from time warner and polycom"

"The benefits offered at Christie is highly excellent, however there is a ton of work that may force you to stay within the initial group you were hired aboard."

"Good co-workers, friendly people, matching 401K plan plus health benefits"

"Micro-managing senior management that is too overbaring and work that could easily be streamlined with a few purchases or improvements"

"Take the time to review processes and streamline through automation if possible"

"I learned a ton of things there and there was never a dull moment."

"It begin to just take over my life because we could never find the skillset we needed and keep it."

"Everything."

"Get rid of management and hire competent people to do the job right."

"Forced to move - didn't want to move - forced out of company."
What do you like about working at Windstream Communications?
"The Operations Manager is prejudice and the Network Operations department only has 2 or 3 actual educated technicians. Everyone else was hired because of race and association. Windstream does not respect diversity in any sense of the word. If you are not from Mountain Home, AR or Greensboro, AR you won't get a job in Network Ops. He only wants to hire people that he can control or that he knows personally from his earlier days as a technician."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"First and foremost you will not get hired unless you are a White American and you must keep your head down and do your work and dont ask too many questions about training"
What don't you like about working at Windstream Communications?
"The technology was good but no one would train me because I was an African American. Everything I learned there I had to grab a book and just start reading."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get rid of the Operations Manager because he uses Good Ole Boy tactics to get things he want done in Little Rock, AR and the surrounding areas."
