"It's a great company to work for during University as a part time job."
"Mirus posted for Brand Ambassadors for multiple events. I emailed them and filled out online application. I received an email saying that I was hired and I was given my choice of dates to work multiple events in cities in my area. After confirming the dates, I was given further instructions to sign up on their app and signed my W9. When the events appeared on my calendar, it was stated that I was to bring a table, tablecloth, gloves, apron, sample cups, knife... And then during a conference call a week later, we were informed that we had to purchase the product we were promoting and multiple foods from the high end store we were promoting in, for reimbursement. I subsequently discovered that I was being paid via PayPal and that their Pay cycles were 45 days after events. I feel duped. I really feel that they should have mentioned, at least some of these costly and inconvenient details in their posting or prior to booking multiple gigs over a two month period. Normally, I don't apply for gigs that require reimbursement or requiring me to supply demo setup supplies to this extent. I don't like PayPal, I don't want to have to use it. And the payouts are ridiculously delayed. Transparency is important to Brand Ambassadors."
