"While there are a lot of nice, hard working people employed here, upper management needs to be more respectful and accountable. The newest HR Manager is dishonest and arrogant, she does not bother to know or follow the company's policies. The benefits are decent but the pay is low for those of us doing all the hard labor."

"it was definetely an experience, to say the least"

What do you like about working at Milgard Manufacturing?

"I was fortunate to work for a good, professional manager. My direct supervisor and coworkers are the only things that are good during my tenure."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I am not discouraging anybody to interview for any positions in Milgard Manufacturing. My negative review is mostly directed to a certain division. I believe it's up to the interviewee to decide if the job and the people fits their personality. I know for a fact that people who work at Milgard are good supportive people. Please don't let my negative reviews of a certain group of ppl discourage you from applying if you see fit."

What don't you like about working at Milgard Manufacturing?

"Top management at division 16. The top managers that runs (or ran, I don't know if they 're still employed at Milgard) divison 16 plant are most of the time are not professional, criticizes without giving any constructive feedback, a lot of my way or the highway attitudes and the location manager-she was most definetely not a people's person. If there's one main thing that drove me away from Milgard -it's definetely top menagement leadership. I didn't have a lot of faith in them.In general, management at corporate level is good, it's just management in div 16 that needed a lot of work. No career growth opportunities"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to your subordinate more, remember that being a manager is not a power trip. Overall, I think Milgard just needs to hire better people to fill top management positions. Someone who doesn't drive away more than half of her middle managers would be preferable."
