"I enjoy making large parts to print, and efficiently.I dont get alot of input on how work should be done. so I feel good when parts are done timely, and efficiently"

"I liked been able to build and repair equipment. I liked using my abilities to create and design parts used for the machines that needed repairing."

"If you are applying for this job you need to know how to work on your own with lathes, mills, drill presses, and welding."

"Not much place for advancement. It was a small company and the mining industry was fading out at the time."

"I recomment that Dave reach out to other industries to bring in work other than from the mining industry."

"One smart guy with background High School said ;In the interview I must have showed tha I'm colledge educated,these managers can't test you."

"The managers are not passed from intereviews for the position,They aren't The man for the job,they found a job for the man."

"They must be substituted with qualifyed,chief maintenance manager must be Mechanical Engineer with at list 10 years expirience."

"I like the travel and gross pay. It is interesting to see the problems of short term staffing"

"get documentation on everything...keep good records. Make sure your hours are as needed. Work every hour asked"

"the staff is not very qualified and does not follow through on it required work. I feel this is a newer company and NOT organized at all"

"replace with qualified people. I seen some very unprofessional things from management"

"The atmosphere, and the coworkers were the best part. The owners were very nice people, and the work load was not overwhelming."

"I would say make sure you get in close with your supervisor because there is a lot of favoritism that goes on there."
What don't you like about working at Capital City Tool?
"I worked on third shift and my supervisor was not around very much, so when the plant manager came in, in the morning and asked how the night went I would tell him. But if my production rate was not high enough he never wanted to hear the reasoning. I had been there a lot longer than the rest of my coworkers and when they needed help they always came to me because I was experienced on all the machines."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Pay attention to the employees and listen to what they have to say without having a pre conceived notion that they are always right."

"there was only two people working there so communication was tight"

"expect to be underpaid and overworked expect to be treated unfair and watch other people who have worked there longer sit around and play on the computer while you are supposed to hold a efficieny of over 85 percent"

"boss/owner doesnt want to teach you anything at all, or pay what you are worth."

"there was no managment at this small time single owner business"
