"Very poorly managed company. They micromanage their employees, reprimand them for doing their job, turn employees against each other, they create a horrible and stressful working environment. They are incredibly dishonest. Pay and benefits are a bait and switch. There is nothing redeemable about KLA Group."
"KLA is an old school semi-conductor capital equipment company. They are very good at the engineering required in putting together complex systems, but are a bit behind the curve in adapting to latest technology trends in SW and AI. It is a good place to work to contribute to solving challenging problems in a stable environment with the downside of collaborating with teams across the globe."
"KLA is a great place to work as a mechanical engineer. There is great mobility and the managers are very open to helping you grow, as long as you communicate your technical and professional goals."
"One of the best workplaces"
"Lack of work-life balance. The manager lacks leadership skills!"
"Average company with average pay. Follows contractor as a resource model."
"Good company to work for, a lot of high end technology"
"Good place to work and very friendly environment."
"I have worked from April 2012 to may 2012. It was very good ethical company. Good working environment, very good Co worker And good senior management. It was very good environment to improve my ability."
"I worked for KLA-Tencor for 14+ years, and was disappointed the last few years I worked there. The culture has shifted to one in which everyone is extremely overloaded (I was doing the work of three managers). There also seems to be a lack of motivation for doing the right thing, or speaking one's mind. Some groups are better than others, and it depends largely on the management chain in any specific organization. It's generally an ok company to work for, but they don't seem to care about their employees as much as they used to, and certainly not as much as many other companies in the valley. Recently there have been an unusually large number of sr. level managers and higher moving out of the company, which is never a good sign."
