Working at Kenexa in Wayne Heights, PA: 1 Employee Reviews

Sales Representative

"An HR company that practices anything but"

What do you like about working at Kenexa?

"I can't say there was much to like about working for this nepotistic, poorly run organization. Some of the people were wonderful, the majority, however, treat it like high school. In this organization, bullying starts from the top, with the CEO being the biggest bully of them all."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Why bother. They don't use their own products to assess who would be a right fit for the organization, especially if certain individuals want you on their teams. I wouldn't waste your time."

What don't you like about working at Kenexa?

"If you want to work for a company that encourages bullying, and is still stuck into the 80s in terms of work advancement, then this company is for you. Unless you are part of the 'in' crowd, and enjoy gossiping, and stepping on others, then I would run the other way. For apparently being a world leader in the field of HR, they do nothing but treat their employees like second class citizens. In addition, if you are friends with some of the top management, you don't even have to go through the lengthy interview process - so, despite what they sell, they don't do it themselves. There is no authenticity in the company or culture whatsoever."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Why don't you move away from being a good old boys club, and actually bring on board some real people with real talent Also, the CEO, as well as a few others need cultural sensitivity training as well as lessons on what can and shouldn't be said in specific situations. My advice would be to bring in an entirely new management team and stop promoting less than stable individuals to the top."
