"Having worked there for a while I can say that I've watched this company go from a good environment to a poor one. The people are wonderful, but the upper management seems so detached. Just before the holidays, a 20% cut was announced giving voluntary severance to those who wanted to apply. Far more than 20% left the company. Many of the developers have left including the sustaining engineering team meaning those developers who have remained must pick up the bulk of the work; however, the remaining developers have never seen this legacy codebase before. On top of that, the remaining devs are to add more to the existing project which has been under development for 2 or so years and has a lot of remaining work due to the development process (the platform is undergoing heavy development at the same time as the consumers using it which causes bugs to be reopened many times or code to be rewritten time and time again to reflect new behavior or changed current behavior. It's not a great place to work now but it might improve in the future."
