Working at IFLY in Austin, TX: 3 Employee Reviews

IFLY Employee

"Good group of people on an individual level but the Senior level management was lacking in experience. The environment was toxic due to upper management being disengaged, spending millions of dollars on frivolous projects/travel/high salaries for inexperienced management, etc. Company struggling in general and management fails to "see the root of the problem" ie: people do not want to pay a high price to enjoy the dream of flight. Doesn't matter how much you spend on marketing, the root is the price and the root won't grow unless people can afford to fly. End result, people lose their jobs, bills can't get paid, and the company fails."

"I worked for iFLY for a little over 18 months and would have continued working there for the foreseeable future had I not been laid off. The company had been having some issues and continued to compound them to the point that the portfolio company that owns them had to come in and layoff 30% of the home office. Culture and morale used to be great, had been declining, can only imaging what it is now."
