"There wasn't anything that I did not like; it was great to be part of public television."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"We had to be compliant with FCC regulations pertaining to diversity and outreach. I suggested to management several initiatives to meet compliance to the FCC regulations."

"Not much. There was not a good feeling about the company."

"Do not work here. This place is not worth your time or the effort that it would take to get along with SE."

"The environment was terrible. The Vice President of Operations was a control freak who wanted to do everyone's job, but she did each job the hardest way and didn't take any input from them."

"I would let each person know that their input was vital to the organization. I would pay the people a little more. I would assist with a work-life balance."

"This was my first HR position and I learned a tremendous amount. The manager that I had was fun, full of trust for his employees and a strong leader."

What don't you like about working at Merrill Corporation?
"The hours were difficult to maintain. The company was in the financial printing industry and I would go into work at 8am leave at 3am, go home and sleep for a few hours and come back and do it again. It was the 90s and the financial industry was booming."

"It has been so long since I worked there but the company was innovative and I still use and speak to their guiding principals to this day. Thanks."

What don't you like about working at Clear Creek County?
"The wage and growth opportunities was not good but I had been out of HR for two years and it was a good place to return to the industry. I learned a lot about compensation Always remembering it is about the position, not the person in the position. I had over thirteen years of HR experience but the position really only required 3-5 years of experience, therefore the wage remained lower, even though my experience and expertise could garner more."

"Keep the compensation plan up to date. It should be a living document."

"Get any promises in writing before committing to the company."

"When the companies were sold, LKQ mislead me as to my future with the company until the conversion process was complete, then my position was eliminated."

"The company's budget/actions was dictated by their clients, to the point where the client could veto a candidate hiring process."

"I would suggest that the company start a sales/marketing department that would bring in more clients so that the current client (who is 90% of the business) does not dictate the company's core values/integrity."

"Be honest, open, and candid with responses to questions. Always answer behavioral questions using Situation, Action and Results. You must be detailed."

"It is a great company, and there are no concerns to address. The company has a lot of great people working for them who are supportive."

"People like to do a good job, but few actually succeed. I recommend allowing people to retire or leave the company if desired. I believe everyone would benefit from this."
