"My experience at Hofstra as a teacher aide and computer science tutor provided me with excellent tools to carry over to any other job. I learned how to utilize my computer science skills by helping other students who may have been struggling with a particular topic. I also had to coordiante with the professor on her expectations and curriculum to ensure that it was implementated and that the students also gained the required knowledge. This taught me on how to be part of a team and both take and give directions."
