"There are nice people working at the company. There is a shared optimism that makes impossible work possible. Easy to make friends. Analytics direction comes from inexperienced managers who only care about how smart they look. Priorities constantly change like a consulting company. Reorganize the analysts into their business units so they can work on legitimate projects. The CAO recycles ideas with outdated consultant jargon but analysts want impactful work. The CAO and his club should support business analytics and not create priorities based on their resumes. BY THE WAY HF DELETES GLASSDOOR REVIEWS!!!"
"It was not a great company to work for."
"Poor management. No advancement opportunities."
"This company is a good reproductive health service but an awful place to work. The management is nasty, cruel, and falsely accuses people of things while trying to push them out. They gaslighted me and showed zero respect for my personal emotions. I urge you to either find another place to go to for your reproductive health needs or be like me and fight against the corrupt director and health educator until they are taught that workplace bullying and false accusations proven by the police to be unfounded in any fact, are punished and/or fired. My supervisor was overcontrolling and always hovering. She was very into micro-management. No matter how hard I tried to improve, the director and my supervisor seemed determined to push me out. Do not consider working here. It will take years off your life due to the stress and pettiness of the workplace environment."
"Good place to work and best work environment."
"Health First is a great place to work."
"Health first is an organization with tremendous potential and a significant amount of very motivated employees. It is held back by a mentality of "we have always done things this way" in which new ideas and further education struggle."
"Healthfirst is one of the largest health insurance company that serves more than 1.2 million members in downstate New York. Their internship program truly helps me in solving real-world problems."
"The company has grown so quickly that operationally, they were unprepared. They are undergoing a lot of growing pains. Overall, it's a good company and certainly great for anyone who wants to start out there and learn a lot.Unfortunately, HR is very poorly run."
"Good company, non profit organization, medical and dental, woman and infants, good staff and providers. Great place to work. Flexible with patients and staff, friendly workplace. Everyone gets along and gets their work done. No major complaints, they help patients to get insurance and take all insurances, family practice and always willing to help. New building is amazing."
